Apologies

Sorry for being MIA the last week or so. I was away on vacation and I’m just starting to catch up on work. I’ll hopefully have some time to update this weekend.

In the meantime, anyone have anything to submit?

“1984” Apple Macintosh Commercial
(Agency: Chiat/Day, Venice)

An absolute classic. Still one of the most memorable ads ever made even though it was only ever shown once during the third quarter of the 1984 Super Bowl.

"Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do."

- Apple, Inc. (Part of their 1997 “Think Different” ad campaign crafted by TBWA/Chiat/Day, Los Angeles)

In honor of Steve Jobs I’m going to be posting some of my favorite Apple ads.

American Horror Story Interactive Site
The new FX show American Horror Story premieres tonight, but to build some buzz around it, the show created an interactive site where visitors can tour what seems to be an ill-fated house and explore it’s dreadful, bloody past. You can also register to receive an artifact that you can then add to the site to help build the clues surrounding each story.
